Primack Cup at Blackhawk Farms

Longtime VMGCC member Marv Primack passed away last summer.

In honor of his contributions to vintage racing, there will be a special celebration and race, The Primack Cup, at Blackhawk Farms Raceway 15538 Prairie Rd, South Beloit, Wisconsin, on Saturday, June 20th. Racing for all classes begins at 8:am and finishes around 5p.m. All Vintage MG people are invited to the Pre-War paddock to help us celebrate. There will be a complementary barbecue at about noon, and plenty of old British cars to ogle. The Primack Cup begins at 1:40 p.m.

Track Parade

There will be special parade laps to honor Marv at 11 :50 with all of the prewar group and any former racers involved. If you raced your MG in the past, you can join the parade laps with us. Period attire especially pudding bowl or leather helmets is encouraged. There will be room around our paddock for you to display your vintage car if you bring it. VMGCC Logo Merchandise from Lands’ End

A wide variety of Land’s End apparel and merchandise is now available with the VMGCC logo!

The entire process of getting such merchandise is done directly with Land’s End without the involvement of the Club. The cost of adding our logo to apparel is $8.95 per item.

To order apparel:

1. Go to https://business.landsend.com/store/vintagemgchicago/ . This will take you to the page for our store.

2. Select “Men” or “Women” just below the search bar. (Note: there are minimum order quantities for the “Promotional Products”)

3. Shop for and select the item you want. (Note: you need to select the color before the quantity. If you select the quantity first and want to change the color you must remove the quantity first.)

4. Click on “Apply Logo(s).”

5. Select Logo to use (we only have one at this point.)

6. Select location on garment for logo.

7. Click on “Apply Logo.”

8. Click on “Add to Bag.”

You may then check out and pay for your item in the normal manner. For the more adventurous you may actually change the colors on the logo. This option will appear right below your logo selection. Hats are not available with our logo. To order other Merchandise: Other items, such as tote bags, water bottles, face masks, etc. are also available with logos; just look for items in the search bar of our store page. Different fees apply and sometimes there are minimum purchase requirements.
